چکیده

Breeding for novel genotypes with high yield and stability is a crucial objective in agriculture. Environmental factors play significant role determining genotype's response, which commonly known as genotype-by-environment interaction. In this study, multi-environment experiment three replications of twenty-nine pearl millet one year (2019) was conducted at eight locations India. The Additive main effects multiplicative interaction (AMMI) Genotype Genotype-by-environment (GGE) biplot analyses were used to study the (G x E) identify stable genotypes. A new weighted index proposed, based on standardized grain indices AMMI-based parameters determine high-yielding all environments, seven independent principal component axes (IPCAs) significant. genotypes, while employed most highest-yielding simultaneously. According parameters, G27, G13, G28 found be stable, G10, G11, G13 identified according index. These findings suggest that proposed can

Genotypic stability and adaptability in tropical maize based on AMMI and GGE biplot analysis.

We evaluated the phenotypic and genotypic stability and adaptability of hybrids using the additive main effect and multiplicative interaction (AMMI) and genotype x genotype-environment interaction (GGE) biplot models. Starting with 10 single-cross hybrids, a complete diallel was done, resulting in 45 double-cross hybrids that were appraised in 15 locations in Southeast, Center-West and Northeas...

Evaluation of soybean lines and environmental stratification using the AMMI, GGE biplot, and factor analysis methods.

In the final phases of new soybean cultivar development, lines are cultivated in several locations across multiple seasons with the intention of identifying and selecting superior genotypes for quantitative traits. In this context, this study aimed to study the genotype-by-environment interaction for the trait grain yield (kg/ha), and to evaluate the adaptability and stability of early-cycle so...

Biplot analysis of phenotypic stability in upland cotton genotypes in Mato Grosso.

Seed cotton yield is a trait governed by multiple genes that cause changes in the performance of genotypes depending on the cultivation environment. Breeding programs examine the genotype x environment interaction (GE) using precise statistical methods, such as AMMI (additive main effects and multiplicative interaction) and GGE biplot (genotype main effects + genotype x environment interaction)...

CROP SCIENCE, VOL. 47, MARCH–APRIL 2007 641 ABSTRACT The use of genotype main effect (G) plus genotype-by-environment (GE) interaction (G+GE) biplot analysis by plant breeders and other agricultural researchers has increased dramatically during the past 5 yr for analyzing multi-environment trial (MET) data. Recently, however, its legitimacy was questioned by a proponent of Additive Main Effect ...

Bayesian GGE biplot models applied to maize multi-environments trials.

The additive main effects and multiplicative interaction (AMMI) and the genotype main effects and genotype x environment interaction (GGE) models stand out among the linear-bilinear models used in genotype x environment interaction studies. Despite the advantages of their use to describe genotype x environment (AMMI) or genotype and genotype x environment (GGE) interactions, these methods have ...
